Michael J. Sylvester, MD, MED, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Sylvester concentrates his medial practice performing no-scalpel, no-needle vasectomy within the scope of his Family Medicine practice and as assistant professor at the Queen's School of Medicine.

Education:

Dr. Sylvester graduated from the University of Ottawa Medical School in 1993 and from Family Medicine Residency in 1995.

Practice History & Experience:

Dr. Sylvester started performing No-Scalpel vasectomies as part of his practice in Marathon, Ontario 1998. He joined Queen's University Department of Family Medicine in 2000 where he became Assistant Professor, and later, Director of the Undergraduate Family Medicine Program. He continued No-Scalpel vasectomy as part of his teaching practice. Dr. Sylvester has won several teaching awards. You can check out his Family Medicine teaching videos on his YouTube channel!

He left his academic position at Queen's University in 2014 in order to concentrate on his vasectomy and psychotherapy practices.

He is married and has 3 children. He started his own No-Scalpel, No Needle vasectomy clinic in 2003.
