Maureen McCue graduated from St. Lawrence College in 1977, making the “President’s List”, receiving her degree as a Registered Practical Nurse.

Maureen was hired at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital (now known as Providence Care) where she worked full time for 33 years in Complex Continuing Care, retiringin 2010. Maureen met Dr. Richard Henry when she obtained a part time job at Providence Care in the fall of 2010 working in the Pain Clinic at St. Mary’s of the Lake, a clinic that eventually was transferred to the Hotel Dieu. Maureen was able to continue her work with Dr. Henry when he hired her to be his assistant at his clinics held at the Kingston Eye Institute.

Maureen was overwhelmed with the stories told by individuals as they were treated for their chronic pain in the clinics she attended. These individuals had not only lost their fundamental abilities but in many cases their jobs, homes and tragically their families due to the consequences of suffering from Chronic Pain.

Maureen is grateful for the opportunity to have become part of Dr. Henry’s team. She takes great pride in assisting in the healing of each and every client, treating each one individually and holistically; meaning the whole-person. The key to this process being that each the clients are determined to get better.

Maureen notes that Dr. Henry advocates a good diet, good exercise, good sleep, good supplements, life style changes and the removal of toxic medications to enhance a better quality of life.

Maureen has worked with Dr. Henry now for three years treating chronic pain and is excited to continue learning and implementing new advances in the treatment of this epidemic disease. Due to the ongoing research and work of Dr. Richard Henry she looks forward to being able to treat and heal her clients using the compassionate care she applies on a day to day basis.
